Kathie Garren Williams, 69, of Newport News, a beloved mother, nana, sister, aunt, and educator, passed away peacefully on April 20, 2025. A graduate of Clemson University and The Citadel, she dedicated 42 years as a special education teacher and department head at Menchville High School, impacting countless students. She is survived by her children, grandchildren, life partner Mike Curtis, sisters, and extended family, leaving a legacy of love, kindness, and dedication; donations are requested to Here for the Girls or Lees Friends.
