Porter, their children, Kathryn A. Rhodes and Claiborne W. Porter, grandchildren, and a brother. She was a music teacher who taught internationally and locally, directing choirs and musicals. A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 10, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Bruton Parish Church in Williamsburg. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Bruton Parish Church or the Sentara Foundation.

    Born February 12, 1961, in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, he retired as a Colonel after 30 years in the U.S. Air Force.
    He served as a B52 Navigator, TACP Commander, and Inspector General, deploying multiple times and earning awards including the Bronze Star and Legion of Merit.
    Following retirement, he worked over a decade as a Sr. Program Manager at Leidos Defense Contracting.
    Peter enjoyed football, classic cars, WWII history, and ran A-15 Publishing.
    He is survived by his wife, Nina Donnelly, and extended family.
