Various groups in James City County, including the James City County Police Department, are displaying colorful pinwheels across the county during April as part of the “Pinwheels for Prevention” initiative to raise awareness for National Child Abuse and Child Neglect Prevention Month. The pinwheels symbolize bright futures for children and will remain on display until the end of the month to highlight the community’s commitment to child well-being.
