Jamestown/Yorktown May: Indigenous Arts, Bee Day, Jamestown Day, Exhibit.

MAY EVENTS AT JAMESTOWN AND YORKTOWN MUSEUMS

The Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation announces a series of events and exhibits for May.
Indigenous Arts Day is on May 3 at Jamestown Settlement, featuring performances and storytelling.
Jamestown Day on May 10 at Jamestown Settlement commemorates the 1607 founding with demonstrations and salutes.
Farmers & Foragers Family Day kicks off a new series on May 17 at the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown, focusing on 18th-century plants.
A Director’s Series conversation with journalist Michael Paul Williams is scheduled for May 21 at Jamestown Settlement.
World Bee Day is celebrated on May 24 at Jamestown Settlement with honeybee activities and tastings.
A special exhibition, “Patrons & Patriots: The Legacy of Nick & Mary Mathews,” continues through July 27 at the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown.
Most daytime events and exhibits are included with museum admission.
Free admission is available for local residents and SNAP benefit recipients.
