Robert Spratley, 62, of Norfolk, Virginia, passed away on April 23, 2024.

Louis Leonard “Lou” Vannostrand, 63, of Norfolk, a lifelong resident of the Hampton Roads area, passed away on April 23, 2025. Born July 30, 1961, Mr. Vannostrand was known for his cooking and enjoyed watching football. He is survived by his brother, Calvin Roy Vannostrand, Jr., and his brother-in-law, Brooks, and was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters. No services are scheduled, but the family hopes to bury him at Forest Lawn Cemetery and requests memorial donations.

Richard “Rick” Evans Westbrook, 56, of Virginia Beach, passed away peacefully on April 23, 2025, after facing ALS. Born January 13, 1969, he was the son of Richard and Diane Carroll Westbrook. Rick was a cherished member of the Bayville community for 29 years, known for his warmth and spirit, leaving a legacy of love and strength. He is survived by his parents, siblings, extended family, and many friends. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, May 4, 2025, at 5:00 PM at Altmeyer Funeral Home – Southside Chapel in Virginia Beach, with a reception to follow. Donations may be made to the ALS Association in his name.

Theresa Ann Wood, 63, of Virginia Beach passed away April 22, 2025. Born January 31, 1962, in North Carolina, she loved music, nature, animals, and volunteered at the Virginia Beach SPCA. Donations in her memory can be made to the Virginia Beach SPCA or the Alzheimer’s Association. A celebration of life will be held later.

Dena Nicole Harris, 45, of Virginia Beach passed away recently following a tragic accident in the city. Born in Virginia Beach on August 24, 1979, she worked as a bartender and was known for her vibrant spirit, love of the beach, and adventurous nature.

Theresa Ann Wood, 63, of Virginia Beach, passed away on April 22nd, 2025. Born January 31st, 1962, in North Carolina to Harvey and Ella Wood, she was known for her free spirit and love of music and the beach. Theresa enjoyed strawberry picking, camping, and volunteered at the Virginia Beach SPCA. She is survived by her sisters, JoEllen and Robin. A celebration of her life will be held later, and donations may be made to the Virginia Beach SPCA or the Alzheimer’s Association.

Dena Nicole Harris, 45, of Virginia Beach, passed away recently in Virginia Beach following a tragic accident.
