Timothy Franklin Downey Sr., 73, of Mattaponi, Virginia, passed away at home on April 21, 2025. Born in Gary, Indiana, on September 24, 1951, he was a Navy veteran and retired master shipbuilder from Newport News Shipbuilding. He is survived by his wife, Deborah, sons, grandsons, and nieces.
