Zenaida Trinidad Macaraeg, 76, of Newport News passed away peacefully on April 24, 2025. Born December 18, 1948, in the Philippines, she retired from Canon after 30 years and was a devoted parishioner of St. Jerome Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband, Fred Macaraeg, children Alfred and April Macaraeg, grandchildren, and a brother. A viewing is scheduled for Thursday, May 8, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Altmeyer Funeral Homes, 12893 Jefferson Avenue, Newport News. Funeral services will be held at St. Jerome Catholic Church, 116 Denbigh Boulevard, Newport News, on Friday, May 9, 2025, at 10:00 AM.
